Computer History Museum tillkännagav igår en ny online-utställning som helt tillägnas åt Steve Jobs och hans arbete. Bortsett från detaljer Jobs liv från Homebrew Computer Clubhela vägen upp till iPad, eller som de uttrycker det, “från garaget till världens mest värdefulla företag”, ingår också en sällsynt Steve Jobs presentation från 1980.
Utställningen, som heter “Steve Jobs… First, Last, One more thing…”, innehåller massvis av kul läsning och länkar till Computer History Museums samling av Apple relaterade poster inklusive ett original av Homebrew Computer Club nyhetsbrev, sällsynta bilder av Steve Jobs i highschool och annonser och bilder från Apple I.

Efterföljaren till Steve Jobs blir Tim Cook, tidigare operativ chef för Apple. Tim Cook meddelar att det inte kommer att bli någon skillnad på Apple nu när Steve Jobs avgått som VD för Apple. Men kan det verkligen bli detsamma?

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.
